How to Select Your Pick-Up and Drop-Off Points
1. Tap ‘Where to?’
Start by tapping the ‘Where to?’ bar on your Ryde app home screen.
2. Check Your Auto-Detected Pick-Up Point
Your pick-up will be automatically filled based on your GPS location.
- Orange dot = Pick-up point
- Pink pin = Drop-off point
3. Edit Your Pick-Up (If Needed)
If you prefer a different pick-up spot, tap the pick-up field and type the exact location and select from suggestions or ‘Choose from Map’.
4. Enter Your Drop-Off
If the pick-up is correct, proceed to enter your drop-off by typing the address or selecting ‘Choose from Map’.
5. Confirm Pick-Up Point
After choosing your drop-off, you’ll see the ‘Confirm Pick-up’ screen.
- You can drag and drop the orange pin to fine-tune the exact point on the map.
6. Proceed to Booking
Once you have confirmed the pick up and drop offs, you’ll be directed to the booking screen.
7. Choose Your Ride Preferences
Select your ride type, payment method, and any additional options.
8. Book Your Ride
Tap ‘Book’ and wait to be matched with a nearby driver.
