1. What is Multi-Select?
Multi-Select allows you to select more than one eligible ride option when making a booking.
By selecting multiple ride options, your booking can be matched with a wider pool of available drivers, which may improve your chances of getting a ride faster.
You will still receive one ride with one driver.
2. Will I be charged for selecting multiple ride options?
No. There is no additional fee for using Multi-Select.
You will only be charged for the ride option you are ultimately matched with, based on the applicable fare shown for that ride.
Selecting multiple options does not mean you will be charged for multiple rides.
- How will I know which ride type I was matched with?
You’ll be matched with one of the ride types you selected, depending on which eligible driver accepts your booking first.
For example, if you select RydeFLASH and RydeX, you may be matched with either RydeFLASH or RydeX. You will not be matched with a ride type you did not select.
Once a driver accepts your booking, the assigned ride type will be shown in your booking details. You can check the ride type and fare details in the app after you have been matched.
- Will I receive more than one driver if I select multiple ride options?
No. Although your request may be made available to drivers from multiple eligible services, only one driver will be assigned to your booking.
- Can I change my selected ride options after booking?
No. Once your booking has been confirmed, the selected ride options cannot be changed.
If you need a different ride option, you may need to cancel the existing booking and make a new booking, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
To keep the booking experience clear and reliable, Multi-Select is not available for Advance Bookings.
- Can I use Multi-Select for Advance Booking?
At the moment, Multi-Select is only available for on-demand bookings. If you'd like to schedule a ride in advance, you can continue to use Advance Booking for a specific ride option of your choice.
- Can I use Multi-Select for private booking?
No. Multi-Select is not available for private bookings.
A private booking assigns your job specifically to the driver you requested, so the booking is only offered to that particular driver.
- What happens if no driver accepts my Multi-Select booking?
Your booking will continue to follow the applicable booking and matching process.
If the booking remains unmatched or expires, you can make another booking based on the options available at that time.
What if I only want a specific ride option?
If you only want a specific ride option, select that option instead of using Multi-Select. Multi-Select is intended for riders who are open to being matched with any of their selected eligible ride options.
