Do I need to pay for damages or loss of items, how will Ryde charge me? – Ryde Support

If the sender meets the conditions specified in our Terms of Use for a compensation claim, Ryde will deduct the compensation amount (up to $100) from your deposit. The final amount will be determined by Ryde.

You are solely responsible for any loss, damage, contamination, soiling, or detention related to the delivery item that occurs from the time of pickup until delivery and is caused directly by you.

Ryde has the complete and exclusive discretion to accept, deny, or determine a reasonable amount for final compensation.
