Example for Drivers Aged 47 (MediSave Contribution):
If you are aged 47, your MediSave contribution depends on your total earnings for the calendar month as follows:
- If your earnings are $500 or less: No MediSave contribution is required.
-
If your earnings are between $500 and $750:
- Your contribution will be calculated as 0.3 × (Net Earnings - $500).
-
For example, if your net earnings are $600, your contribution will be:
0.3 × ($600 - $500) = $30.
-
If your earnings exceed $750:
- Your contribution rate will be 10% of your Net Earnings.
-
For example, if your net earnings are $800, your contribution will be:
10% × $800 = $80.
