On-demand Trip - Rider Cancellation & Waiting Time Policy Statement
All cancellations made within 3 minutes of matching are not chargeable.
Rider will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $5.50* if:
- Rider cancels after 3 minutes of matching
Rider may be charged a Waiting Time Fee of $5.50* at the end of the trip if:
- The driver pressed “I’m Here”, waits for > 3 minutes for rider to arrive at pick-up point and cancels the trip (Rider NO SHOW and no trip completion), OR
- The driver pressed “I’m Here”, waits for > 3 minutes for rider to board, and continues the trip (Rider boards and driver completes trip).
This Policy applies for all Service Types except RydeTAXI**.
*Inclusive of platform fee of $0.50 (inclusive of GST) per transaction. The platform fee will only apply once per transaction.

Advanced Trip - Rider Cancellation & Waiting Time Policy Statement
All cancellations made > 15 minutes before scheduled trip time are not chargeable.
(eg: Scheduled trip: 6PM, any cancellation made before 5:45PM is not chargeable.
If the advanced trip request is accepted only after 5:45PM, riders will have a 3 minutes grace period)
Rider will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $5.50* if:
- Rider cancels after the cancellation window (> Scheduled - 15mins OR Matched + 3mins).
Rider may be charged a Waiting Time Fee of $5.50* at the end of trip if:
- The driver cancels the trip after waiting for > 3 minutes for Rider to arrive at pick-up point (Rider NO SHOW and no trip completion), OR
- The driver waits for > 3 minutes for Rider to board, and continues to complete the trip (Rider boards and driver completes trip)
