The following clause only applies to RydeLUXE trips.
Riders are subjected to a fee of up to $140 which is payable to drivers if a mess is made in the car that requires professional cleaning to remove. E.g. A permanent / semi-permanent stain, vomiting etc.
We advise to take pictures of the mess made in the vehicle as proof.
If the rider cannot make payment immediately, please come to a mutual agreement with the rider on how the payment will be made within 2 working days, where both parties are agreeable and comfortable. E.g. DBS PayLah / PayNow, Inter-bank transfer
Once the rider has made payment, you must furnish the rider with a cleaning receipt. Refund any remainder to the rider.
However, if you are unable to reach a mutual agreement with the rider within 2 working days, please provide the cleaning receipt to us and we will attempt to reach the rider on our end.
The rider will be suspended and will not be able to book another Ryde until payment is recovered.
Do note however that Ryde is not responsible in bearing the cost of the cleaning fee.
