Before changing your destination, please inform your driver beforehand. If the new destination significantly increases the trip's duration or distance, your driver may not be able to accommodate the change.
Once you've updated your destination, inform your driver to accept the change through their app within the specified countdown. The changes will take effect once the driver accepts your request. If the driver does not respond within the countdown, your request will be automatically declined.
Upon confirmation of your updated destination, your trip fare will be adjusted accordingly, and your route will be rerouted to the new location.
Important to note:
- You can modify your destination and/or add an additional stop only once after the trip is started.
- In the case where your request is being auto-rejected (this could be due to pop up not shown on the driver app, driver missing out hence not performing any actions, or driver kills the app), you will be able to edit your destination one more time.
- An edit destination fee of $3 will be applied and will be reflected on your trip receipt.
- The trip fare will be adjusted accordingly with the new location & surcharges may apply.
- When you use a card for payment and edit your destination, both the initial and new trip amounts are held temporarily. This is necessary until the driver accepts the updated request. Once the driver accepts, the hold on the initial fare is released.
Unable to change destination?
- Once your edit destination request have been accepted or rejected by your driver, you are unable to edit your destination again.
